Blue Ice Help Page

Please read this entirely so you can become familiar with using the product.

Command Chains:

The heart of Blue Ice is the ability to process large strings of commands at the press of a single key. This is a command chain. A single command chain contains numerous "smaller" invididual commands, each one seperated by a comma.

Rule One: Use commas to seperate commands: Hello World vs Hello,World. The first example is a single command. The second example is 2 commands. The comma tells Blue Ice "we have another command". Seperate all commands with commas.

Rule Two: Use Wait Commands to create delays: w5 tells blue ice to "wait 5 seconds". All wait commands should be in the form of wx where x=the number of seconds you want to wait.

Here are some quick samples to get started immediately.

Example One : 7,w4,6,w2,8
Translates to: press 7....wait 4 seconds....press 6....wait 2 seconds....press 8. This could be your mage's nuke sequence. Press one key and its done.

Example Two Function Keys: 3,w15,F6,w3,F7,blah

Example Three, ALT, CTRL, and SHIFT keys: %F5,w5,^7, w3,+f

Special Commands: Put all special commands inside tags <>

<tabn> Press Tab n number of times
<c> Press comma
<pgUp> Page Up
<PgDown> Page Down
<start>Equivalent of CTRL-ESC, presses the Window key
<end> Press End
<home> Press Home
<numlock> Toggle the Numlock key
<Un> Hold down the Up key n number of seconds
<Dn> Hold down the Down key n number of seconds
<Rn> Hold down the Right key n number of seconds
<Ln> Hold down the Left key n number of seconds
<Mouse X-Y-SC> Single click the mouse at X,Y
<Mouse X-Y-DC> Double click the mouse at X,Y
<Mouse X-Y-SR> Shift right click the mouse at X,Y

Advanced Example:

<start>,w2,r,w2,iexplore.exe<e>,w5,%f,w1,o,w1,www.bugtorrent.com<e>

This will open up ineternet explorer, and then use it to browese to our site. Once you understand what it is doing, you are on your way to making your own powerful macros. There are so many things that can be automated in your MMO game using Blue Ice.

Loops

Triggers

Say you want to setup a "trigger"...that is you want to perform a certain action but only if a condition is met. For example, you are playing LOTRO and need to build tracking skills, so every few minutes you want to use tracking, but you ONLY want to use tracking if you are NOT in combat. So you setup a loop, then configure a trigger. Your loop says "every 5 minutes, lets track" And the trigger says "When it comes time to track, before we do, lets make sure we are not in combat. If we are, then abort...no tracking this round."

Advanced Options:

Base Time: Blue Ice operates off of a "master clock" that ticks once per 1000 miliseconds (or 1 second). All of your wait commands are based on this clock. For example, the command "W5" will wait 5 ticks. The default setting is 1000 (for 1 tick = 1 seconds). You can adjust this value to make Blue Ice process slower or faster, however you wish.

Custom App Name: This allows you to change the window name of Blue Ice as it runs. Many popular MMO's (such as World of Warcraft) scan your running applications. How obvious can you get if one of your Window applications is named "Blue Ice"? We recommend you change both your EXE name (on the file) and your application name (in the advanced options).

Console Size: This is how large or small your console will be. Default is small. The large console provides an extra feature that displays your full command sequence. None will run fully minimized.
